We dropped in to see the Kelpies on our way up to the 'Highlands', wow they were fabulous, in fact stunning.. The Kelpies stood either side of the Clyde Canal Lock. Being avid canal boaters, and doing canal trips twice a year, we couldn't imagine the delight it must bring to those travelling through that lock.#kelpies #clydecanal #falkirk #helix
The Kelpies are 30-metre-high horse-head sculptures depicting kelpies, located between Falkirk and Grangemouth, standing next to a new extension to the Forth and Clyde Canal, and near River Carron, in The Helix, a new parkland project built to connect 16 communities in the Falkirk Council Area, Scotland.
