Getting very close now - 18th -19th June. Just want to say a HUGE thank you to Bonsall villagers and the Parish Council for the support - and of course the householders hosting artists. Full details of everything that's happening including Longcliffe sponsored park and ride and Longcliffe prize plus Turners prizes, are all on our website www.bonsallartstrail.org
THANK YOU BONSALL!
A quick update from Bonsall Arts Trail. This Friday the organisers and hosts will be setting up the trail for this coming weekend. Parking cones and tape as per usual village events will be used and importantly there will be a free park and ride with the two Derbyshire community mini buses running from the Via Gellia Mill around the village bus route plus a run up Church Street. There will be a marquee and food stalls on the park and many homes and buildings in the village will be open and hosting artists. Longcliffe Quarries are the main supporter and sponsor of the trail and arts competition and have funded the busses, hopefully this will make things easier in the village. More information can be found on the website https://www.bonsallartstrail.org/ and details of the Longcliffe competition entries which focus on both ecology and quarrying can be found here https://www.bonsallartstrail.org/longcliffe/ The majority of artists are from Derbyshire including a number of Bonsall Artists. Hoping for good weather and a successful weekend.
We've expanded this year to include artists from surrounding counties, which we hope will enable networking and wider promotion of everyone's work. We have over 80 artists many of whom have been previewed on both our facebook page and instagram.
Lots of food and drink, music, ice creams and hopefully SUN! Free park and ride very important to mention. 2 minibuses 9 am to 6 pm to cover all venues so no need to walk up any hills
